THEY'RE
HERE!!! WOOO HOOO!!! Cougars and Kittens 2005 calendars are now in our hot little
hands and shipping out from the heart of Texas to you. Thanks to all those who
pre-ordered and showed patience while we made this our best edition ever!
November 7, 2004
We're
just back from Phoenix and the 4th annual "Desert Prowl" show - where we shot
with the first of the 2006 kittens, Jen Johnson and Chelsae Rae. They're a couple
of real cutups (in addition to being real cuties), and you can expect to see
more of them - and quite possibly some of the orange restomod pictured below
- this time next year. Meanwhile, you can send the girls fan mail at either
jen@overtonphoto.com or chelsae@overtonphoto.com.
(Jen's the brunette and Chelsae's the blonde...)
Late October, 2004
The last of the photo
selection, retouch, scanning, and plate separating is done, and we're on the presses now. We anticipate being able
to ship calendars to you in about two weeks - in plenty of time for the holiday gift-giving season. Thanks for your patience.

August, 2004
We spent the end
of this month at the Mason-Dixon Dragway enjoying the hospitality of the Delmarva Cougar Club. And we got four more
cars and two more kittens on film. Look for Laura Oeschler to return with a month of her own this year -- and be
joined by newcomer Angela Marie.
July, 2004
Greetings one and
all from the 2004 photo shoots. This summer we've been to both Cougar Nationals East (in Louisville, KY) and West
(in Los Angeles, CA) and we've shot literally thousands of rolls of film that will one day soon be the Cougars
and Kittens 2005 calendar. We had a bumper crop of great cars in both locations, and we've named a whole new
group of kittens. We're looking forward to this being one of our best calendars ever!
October 28, 2003
We're
just back from the print shop, where we supervised the printing of the last
of the calendar pages. The covers will go to the varnishing shop today, and
the last pages will get collated and bound in the next two or three days. We
should, if all goes well, have calendars ready to ship by Monday, November 3rd.
October 24, 2003
We
now have our first "Kitten" for the 2005 calendar -- Erica Loveless.
While in the Houston area, we took the opportunity to visit the nearby small
town of Friendswood, Texas, where Erica works as a model and Starbuck's coffee
girl. (Talk about a great way to get your eyes open in the morning... Forget
about the coffee... Just look at Erica...)
In the process of shooting with
her, we reached the decision that for the 2005 calendar (and her appearances
at the 2004 shows), Femcat is going formal with a little bow tie and fishnet
hose being added to her ensemble. Erica made the new look far too polished and
classy to resist, and she herself preferred the new look to the old one. She
also remarked that the 4" ankle strap black patent stiletto pumps were
quite comfortable compared to other shoes she's worn. We shudder to think what's
on the floor of her closet if stepping into Femcat's shoes seems so comfortable...
In any case, even though Erica
just missed the printer's press date cutoff to be in the 2004 calendar, there
was no way we were going to let her get away in the 2005 issue. Those black
pumps were as good as glass slippers, since the moment we put them on her, we
knew we'd found a real princess.
We want to see lots more of
this sweet kitty in the future, and we know you do too!

We've
just given final approval to the "proof copy" of the calendar sent
to us by our printer. Target date for calendar release is now October 20th.

Overton
Photographic and the Cougars and Kittens swimsuit calendar will be sponsoring
the Cougar Club of Arizona's upcoming charity car show in Mid-November. Look
for posters (and our logo on T-shirts) if you're get the chance to attend.

presses are now rolling on the 2004 Cougars and Kittens Calendar. We've
chosen a final lineup of the following Kittens:

We've
bought advertising space in Mustang and Fords magazine. Look for a 12th
page ad featuring models Stephanie Hodge and Melva in the December issue and
a 1/4 page ad featuring cover models Torrey Burchak, Gabriella Martin, and Sky
in the January 2004 issue.

We've
just completed our last shoot for this year's effort, and we've selected Torrey
Burchak, Gabriella Martin, and Sky as our three cover models.
July, 2003
We've got a new logo! While getting
"Femcat" images ready to be "cut out" and inserted on calendar pages, we had to create
a vast number of silhouettes. And one of model Sky's just leapt off the screen
at us. Don't be surprised to see a lot more of this logo in the future.
